Remove elements, inject CSS or JavaScript
Three actions change the page itself before it’s captured: Remove takes an element away, and Inject JS and Inject CSS run your own code. Use them to keep things that change on every visit out of your checks.
Remove
Add a step, choose Remove and pick the element with the pointer icon or a CSS selector. It’s deleted from the page before the check, so a rotating promo banner, a live chat bubble or a countdown timer no longer counts as a change.
Inject CSS
Choose Inject CSS and enter CSS. It’s added to the page before the check. For example, hide several elements at once:
.promo-banner, .chat-widget, .countdown { display: none !important; }
Inject JS
Choose Inject JS and enter JavaScript. It runs on the page before the check, for example to expand every collapsed section:
document.querySelectorAll('details').forEach((d) => d.open = true);
After an Iframe step, all three act inside that frame.
For ads and pop-ups in general, switch on Block ads and popups on the Advanced tab instead.
