Monitor a PDF
Paste the link to a PDF, such as a price list, a policy, a form or a spec sheet, and monity.ai monitors the document itself, not the browser’s PDF viewer.
Set it up
Create a task with the PDF’s address, for example one ending in .pdf. monity.ai detects that it’s a PDF, including PDFs opened in a viewer or embedded on a page, renders its pages and compares them on each check, just like a web page. Choose the mode as usual: Visual or Auto to compare the rendered pages, with a Notify me when rule if only certain changes matter.
What you get
- An alert when the document changes, with an AI summary based on its text.
- Before and after images of the pages, with the differences highlighted, and a PDF Diff tab in the check that lists metadata and page-by-page changes.
- The full history of versions in the task, so you can see when a clause or a price changed.
Same link, new file
Many sites replace a PDF at the same address when they update it. That’s exactly what a PDF task catches. If the address changes with each version, monitor the page that links to it instead.
