Wait automation allows you to add a pause within your automated workflows, ensuring that pages or specific elements have fully loaded before the next action is taken. This is especially useful for websites that load content dynamically or require extra time to render all elements, helping to improve the accuracy and reliability of your monitoring tasks.
How to set up wait automation
Go to the Automations tab:
In your Monity dashboard, navigate to the Automations tab in your monitoring settings.
Add a Wait action:
Click the + button to create a new automation, then select Wait from the dropdown menu.
Specify Wait duration:
Enter the number of seconds Monity should pause. Set this based on how long the page typically takes to load.
Tip for using Wait automation
Adjust Wait times as needed: Start with a minimal wait duration and increase it only if the page requires more time to load.
With Wait Automation, Monity helps ensure accurate data capture by allowing pages to load completely before proceeding with actions. This results in more reliable and consistent monitoring.
