How to use iFrame automation for tasks

When monitoring or interacting with content embedded in an Iframe on a webpage, Monity’s Iframe automation feature allows you to accurately target and perform actions within these embedded elements. An iframe is essentially a "website within a website," used to display another webpage inside the main page. Using the Iframe Automation ensures that Monity can correctly interact with all embedded elements.

How to Set Up Iframe Automation 

Open automations settings:

• Navigate to the Automations tab in Monity’s monitoring setup.

Add an Iframe action:

• Click the + button to create a new automation step.

• Select Iframe from the dropdown menu.

Specify Iframe Details:

• Use the selector to identify iframe to direct Monity where to focus its actions.
• Save the settings to apply the Iframe Automation.

Tips for using Iframe automation

• Use in combination with other actions: After specifying the iframe, you can add other automation steps, like clicks or form submissions, to interact with elements inside the iframe.
