How to edit a task in your dashboard
You can edit a task in Monity to update its settings, such as the monitoring frequency, comparison type, or change threshold. Once changes are made, new alerts will be triggered based on the updated settings.
Locate the task
- Go to your Workspace Dashboard.
- From the list of tasks, select the one you want to edit.
Open the edit panel
- Click on the selected task to open its details in the right panel.
- In the top-right corner of this panel, click the pencil icon (Edit) to open the editing options for the task.
Modify task settings
You can now adjust the original settings, including:
- Compare type: Change between visual, text, or element monitoring.
- Frequency: Update how often Monity checks for changes.
- Change threshold: Set a new threshold to determine what level of changes will trigger alerts.
Save changes
- Once you have made the desired adjustments, confirm and save your changes. Monity will now apply the new settings, and alerts will be sent based on the updated configuration.
Note
Any changes made to the task settings will override the original configuration. This means that future alerts will follow the new parameters set during editing.
