4. Define the area to monitor

Select the specific area you wish to monitor using the selector tool. Options include full page, mobile view, or specific folds on the page, allowing for flexible monitoring based on your needs.

5. Configure task settings

  • Task name: Give the task a clear, descriptive name. Naming helps you easily identify and manage multiple monitored pages in your dashboard.

  • Task label: Assign a label to categorize and organize tasks (e.g., "sale," "competitor"). Labels appear in the dashboard, allowing for quick identification and filtering.

6. Set monitoring frequency

Define how often Monity should check the selected page for changes. Choose a frequency that aligns with how frequently the monitored content is likely to change.

7. Set change detection threshold

Specify a threshold for change detection. This determines how significant a change must be to trigger an alert, helping avoid notifications for minor updates.

8. Start monitoring

After configuring all settings, confirm and start monitoring. Monity will now track changes on the page based on your defined criteria and will notify you whenever changes occur.
