Text monitoring
Monity.ai allows you to track specific text changes on a webpage, notifying you whenever this text is added or removed. Follow these steps to set up a text monitoring task.
Create a New task
In the Workspace Dashboard, click on New task in the top-right corner to start creating a new monitoring task.
Enter the URL
In the Create new task screen, enter the URL of the page where you want to monitor text changes.
Configure Task Settings
- Task name: Assign a unique name to this task (e.g., "Product description updates") for easy identification.
Set monitoring frequency and change threshold
- Frequency: Choose how frequently Monity should check the page for changes (e.g., every 3 hours).
Choose compare type
Select Text as the compare type to monitor specific text changes on the page rather than visual changes or specific elements.
Enter Text for Monitoring
- Keywords: Enter the specific text or phrases you want to track, separated by commas. Monity will monitor only these specified text changes.
- Notify when keywords: Choose whether you want alerts for text being Added or Removed. This ensures you receive notifications only when the specific changes you’re interested in occur.
Start monitoring
Once you’ve configured all the settings, save the task. Monity will begin monitoring the specified text on the page and will notify you based on the conditions you set.
