Free SEO Audit — SEO, AI visibility, accessibility, HTML & security
Enter any page and watch a deep, live audit run: on-page SEO, ChatGPT & Claude visibility, accessibility (axe-core), broken HTML, security headers, Core Web Vitals — plus a multi-page crawl for site-wide issues.
How it works
-
Enter any page
Yours or a competitor's. The audit fetches the page exactly like a search-engine crawler does — raw HTML, no JavaScript.
-
Watch the deep scan run live
60+ checks across six areas plus an axe-core accessibility pass and a multi-page crawl of your internal links — it takes a proper look, not a quick glance, and streams findings as they land.
-
Get a scored, shareable report
Six category scores, every finding explained with the evidence from your page, and a table of every page we crawled. Copy the link to share it.
An audit that shows what crawlers actually see
Most SEO checkers screenshot your page in a full browser and grade the pretty version. This audit does the opposite, deliberately: it fetches the raw HTML exactly the way Googlebot, GPTBot, and ClaudeBot do — no JavaScript execution — and grades that. If your content only exists after JavaScript runs, you'll see it here first, because to most crawlers your page is the empty shell, not the finished site.
The six areas it scores
- SEO — title and description quality, canonicals, heading structure, image alt coverage, structured data (validated against Google's required properties), robots.txt, sitemap discovery, redirect chains, and readability.
- AI visibility — the new organic channel. Can ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini crawl the page? Is there an llms.txt? Is the content machine-readable, with authors and dates AI assistants trust enough to cite?
- HTML quality — duplicate ids that break anchors and forms, obsolete tags, mixed content, missing dimensions that cause layout shift, and a live test of the page's internal links.
- Accessibility — a full pass with axe-core, the same engine behind browser devtools and professional auditors: alt text, form labels, ARIA correctness, heading order, landmarks, and table semantics.
- Security — HTTPS and HSTS, Content-Security-Policy, clickjacking protection, cookie flags, and version disclosure that maps your stack for attackers.
- Performance — server response time, compression, render-blocking resources, and — when Google has data for your page — real-user Core Web Vitals, the metrics that feed directly into rankings.
It doesn't stop at one page
Most free checkers grade a single URL and call it done. This one then crawls a sample of your internal links and analyses them together — catching site-wide problems that only show up across pages: duplicate or missing titles and descriptions, pages accidentally set to noindex, broken internal links, and thin content. That's the difference between a spot-check and an audit, and it's why a run takes a proper 20–40 seconds rather than a fraction of a second.
Built to be trusted
Every finding shows its evidence — the actual tag, header, or URL it found — and explains the fix in plain language. Scoring is transparent: each area starts at 100 and loses points per issue found, weighted by severity. No mystery grades, no "unlock the real problems" upsell. The passed checks are listed too, so you know what was verified, not just what failed.
Why AI visibility is in an SEO audit
Search is splitting in two. Classic rankings still matter, but a growing share of buying research now happens inside AI assistants — and they have their own crawlers, their own rules, and their own failure modes. A robots.txt line written years ago may be silently removing you from every ChatGPT answer in your category. This audit checks all major AI crawlers by name, so that decision is at least a conscious one.
FAQ
Common questions
What exactly does the audit check?
Six areas, 60+ checks. SEO: titles, descriptions, canonicals, headings, alt text, structured data (validated per Google's required properties), robots.txt, sitemap, redirect chains, readability, passive voice. AI visibility: whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and friends may read the page, llms.txt, machine-readable content, authorship signals. HTML quality: duplicate ids, obsolete tags, mixed content, broken internal links (tested live). Accessibility: a full axe-core pass — alt text, form labels, ARIA correctness, heading order, landmarks, table semantics. Security: HTTPS, HSTS, CSP, cookie flags, version disclosure. Performance: server response, compression, render-blocking resources, plus real Core Web Vitals from Google. It also crawls a sample of your internal pages to catch site-wide problems like duplicate titles.
Where does the analysis actually run?
In your browser. Our server only relays the raw bytes of the page (browsers can't read other sites directly — a security feature called CORS); every check, score, and report is computed on your device and nothing is stored.
What is "AI visibility"?
Whether AI assistants — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini — can read and cite your page. A growing share of research now happens inside these tools, and pages they can't crawl (blocked in robots.txt, or rendered entirely by JavaScript) simply don't exist in their answers. The audit checks crawler access, llms.txt, content structure, and the authorship signals answer engines prefer.
Why do results differ from other SEO tools?
Every tool checks a different list with different thresholds. Ours audits the raw HTML that crawlers actually receive — so a beautiful JavaScript site can score poorly here and that's the point: that's what most bots see. For performance we use Google's own PageSpeed Insights rather than reinventing it.
Can I monitor these issues so they don't come back?
Yes — that's Monity's job. It watches any page 24/7 and alerts you in Slack, Teams, or email when something changes: content, visual layout, or the technical tags this audit checks. The free plan includes 3 monitors forever.
Fixed the issues?
